Can you talk us through your current cold chain & food processing product range?

Metaflex is pioneer in insulated doors that are best suited for temperature sensitive/controlled areas. Be it chiller, freezer or blast freezer applications, we are the leaders. Our specially designed insulated doors does not led air/gas pass through them and hence helps in maintaining the optimum level of temperature inside the cold storages. There are specialized cold rooms in industries like pharmaceuticals, agriculture, dairies, meat & fisheries where we supply our doors and contribute substantially.

Who else in your company is specifically involved with addressing safety concerns?

Our two key units- R&D and Quality work extensively towards ensuring highest safety standards.

What are the most recent products, and how are they different from other makes? What standards are your doors made to?

The recent offering from our kitty is High Speed Doors which are generally used for internal applications in all kind of cold chains be it dry or wet. These kind of doors are required when you are working in fast moving and high traffic areas. We follow EN Standards.

One of your major product offerings is Mak Health-Clean Room Doors, Can you tell us what these are, when you use them and the benefits they offer? What new products are available in this area?

Metaflex clean room doors are insulated with high quality PU and there is a provision for double insulated glass vision panel. The door leaf is made up of 0.8mm thick PCGI with PU infill. The gasket is non particle shedding type rubber gasket. Our clean room doors are custom made to suit the requirements from the sectors like pharmaceuticals, hospitals, retail, food processing and commercial environment.

These doors are required at a place where there is high risk of air contamination through environmental pollutants like dust, airborne microbes, aerosol particles and chemical vapour.

Who are your big clients in India? Can you tell us about your major recent and ongoing projects?

We cater a wide array of industries and have proudly served to clients like Apollo, Fortis, Medicity, Max healthcare, Snowman, Gati Kausar, Hind Terminal, Boxco, Balmer & Lawrie, Perfetti, Cadburys, Jubilant Foods, Devyani, Pepsi, HUL, Snapdeal to name a few.

How are your forward orders looking for the rest of 2017?

2016 went really well for us and we have higher expectations for the current year. The recent developments like mega food parks, integrated cold chains, government funding etc placed the industry in a very booming zone and hence we are eyeing a healthy chunk of this growth in 2017. We have already bagged few big orders and quiet affirmative for the year ahead.

What other highlights can we look forward to from Metaflex Doors this year?

We are going to launch HPL Hinge doors for hospitals, pharmaceuticals and other similar applications.

Going forwards, are you planning to take on more people or invest in the business? What about launching any more new products?

We are heavily investing in increasing our service network and installation base. We have started hiring people in Tier I & Tier II cities. We are also expanding our manufacturing capacity at our state of the art manufacturing facility based in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Metaflex is dedicated towards its ecosystem and have always believed that growth is inseparably linked to the well-being of our ecosystem – employees, business partners, society and the environment. Hence we have taken a small yet substantial contribution from our side towards the green environment. We have commissioned 150 kw grid rooftop solar power plant, wherein we will not only be generating the renewable energy but will also help in reducing the pollution.
