When it comes to specifying superior insulation quality, what are the biggest influences on cold chain logistics industry users?

Firstly, we try to understand our customer’s temperature control requirement and the products being transported. It is also important to select the right reefer unit with sufficient power. Insulation thickness and specifications are recommended based on our customer’s temperature requirement. Cold chain industry users benefit with our superior insulation quality by achieving fast pull down, decreased running of reefer unit and in turn lower maintenance costs. In case of break down of the reefer unit our box is able to hold temperature for a longer period while an alternate vehicle can be arranged.

What products do you offer, of particular interest to cold chain & logistics professionals?

We offer high quality reefer trucks for all cold chain industries like dairy, ice cream, pharmaceutical, horticulture, etc. We work with our customers to understand their usage patterns and then recommend a solution. Along with insulated bodies we also offer cooling units including conventional diesel drive units as well as Eutectic systems that work on electricity. We provide insulated bodies of all sizes, right from 3 wheelers to 40’ trailers.

You also offer something called Prefabricated Homes. What does that do?

Prefabricated homes are something we have in our product portfolio. Since we are still a young company we have been focusing on reefer trucks for the moment. Our plant office is made using our system and product. Although we are not marketing this actively, it is something that we can offer.

How have your solutions developed to reflect the increasing use of insulated truck bodies?

As the market evolves and numbers are increasing, people are also demanding innovation and quality. We strive to give our customers value adds. We keep developing our solutions to improve our quality, to reduce weight without compromising on strength. We also work on streamlining our production process so that lead times to our customers are reduced; on time delivery is vital.

You have a very broad customer base. To what extent can your solutions be tailored to meet different organizations’ needs?

Reefer body manufacturing business is tailor made it will continue to be so. Sizes vary based on the product inside, the pallet size, crate size, etc. Each customer has a different temperature requirement and the insulation will vary accordingly. Some customers prefer to have steel outside while others want a lightweight body with GRP. We have several flooring options also such as anti slip GRP, aluminum chequered, aluminum T, Stainless Steel, HDPE tiles, etc. We are equipped to supply several options as per customers’ requirements.

Are you exhibiting at any industry trade shows in 2017 year?

We will be exhibiting in the India International Dairy expo in Mumbai. We will probably exhibit in food logistics, India Cold Chain show and ICE.
