High Performance, Energy Efficient Insulated Panels for Cold storages

Many people don’t know that meat and fish have different freezing requirements to maximize the preservation time. These cold storage units have special meat freezers, chambers for freezing hamburgers and fish sticks, and chilled areas of the facility especially for shell fish.” Mr. Payounidhi Tamotia, President- Sales and Marketing, Kingspan Jindal Pvt. Ltd.

Cold storages are not only providing the storage of harvested fruits and vegetables but also helpful in reducing the post-harvest losses.

The Global Cold chain market is projected to grow at a combined annual growth rate of 7 percent from 2015, to reach a value of $234.49 billion by 2020, according to a research report from Research and Markets.

As per the research published, Cold Storage capacity expands, and Rs.21,000 investment lined up by 2023.  Currently 68% of cold storages are exclusively used for the storage of potatoes; there are still a lot of cold storages are required in India to preserve the food material from the Spoilage.

As the climate in India has prompted demand for cold food storage in the country to keep food fresh. Some of the cold storage systems include those that are specialized for meat and fish. Many people don’t know that meat and fish have different freezing requirements to maximize the preservation time. These cold storage units have special meat freezers, chambers for freezing hamburgers and fish sticks, and chilled areas of the facility especially for shell fish. These cold storage rooms are known for their durability and construction.

Mr. Tamotia said, Today, there is a requirement of the most energy-efficient cold storage solutions, We at Kingspan Jindal are committed to constructing the thermally efficient, energy-saving cold storage building. Kingspan Jindal’s High-Performance Insulated Panel forms the exterior envelope and all interior partition walls system, Kingspan Jindal is accelerating the development of a High-performance product portfolio, leveraging Kingspan’s proprietary insulation core technologies and building technological know-how.

All Kingspan Jindal’s Insulated Panels can be applied to multiple building applications and are available in varying thicknesses. The panels provide high R-value thermal performance, superior airtightness, and low thermal bridging, resulting in potential energy cost savings of as much as 30% over traditional multi-part built-up systems. In Cold Storage, there are separate compartments like chillers, freezer etc. which usually maintain their own temperature to protect the food from spoilage.

We at Kingspan Jindal not only provide the Cold storage Insulated Panel, but we also provide the complete building envelope solution, and that term is not limited to the exterior work only but also provides an internal partition wall, chamber insulation etc. We ensure to provide a cold storage room with the sealed walls and doors to prevent the escape of maintained inside cold air to the outside environment.

Kingspan Jindal is a part of Kingspan group and we have a worldwide network, Our R& D team is continually working on developing the next generation of self-blended hybrid insulation core, which is the ideal solution for the cold storages. We are delivering the Insulated Panels for Cold Storage Applications with a Temperature Range of -40°C to +0°C . Our High performance, Low Energy panels are ideally suitable for the Slaughter House, Deep fridge cold storage, Chillers, Cold Rooms, Pharma, Dairy and many other applications.

Our Group approach is “Early planning of the building envelope makes sense. By adopting an energy-saving strategy, buildings deliver an optimal insulation performance, superior airtightness, and excellent moisture control. Buildings become more energy-efficient and produce less carbon”.
