The event is launched in response to industry interest in staying connected amid these unprecedented times. Since starting in 2018, REFCOLD INDIA has experienced a high level of support and participation from the industry. The 2020 edition was created as a special experience for exhibitors and visitors in order to promote the development and expansion of this sector “, says Anoop Ballaney, chairman of the virtual edition of REFCOLD INDIA 2020.
Participants in the technical sessions can expect a mix of lectures, interactive panel discussions via question-and-answer chat and masterclass training while exhibitors can showcase their products, establish business relationships and have one-on-one meetings with registered attendees.
“With the virtual REFCOLD INDIA 2020 we want to create a platform that connects all those involved through dialogue and discussion. The event will allow us to stay connected, albeit in a different format, while creating the conditions for innovation and future planning. We would like to thank everyone involved in the industry for the feedback over the past few days, which helped us with this decision, ”said Sonia Prashar, Managing Director of NürnbergMesse India.
Richie Mittal, President of ISHRAE (Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers) adds: “It is a proud moment for ISHRAE to announce the first virtual trade fair for refrigeration technology and cold chains together with NürnbergMesse India. The platform is intended to provide access to an exclusive virtual forum with product information from the exhibitors, announcements and demos, conference sessions, product presentations and much more. “
Today more than ever, the world needs a reliable and effective cold chain. As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the demand for refrigerated trucks for transporting perishable goods continues to rise. In the future there is likely to be an urgent need for vaccines that must be transported around the world at controlled temperatures. In addition to maintaining the supply of essentials, the industry helps improve food safety and reduce waste, while also enabling medical supplies to get safely to their destinations.
Both ISHRAE and NürnbergMesse India warmly welcome all representatives of the cold chain and refrigeration technology to use this platform and keep business going.
