Carrier Transicold’s Vector eCool selected as a finalist in the transportation category, Abound awarded honorable mention in the workplace category

Carrier is pleased to announce that Carrier Transicold’s Vector^® eCool™, the first fully autonomous, all-electric engineless refrigerated trailer system, was named a finalist in the Transportation category of Fast Company’s 2022 World Changing Ideas Awards.

Carrier Transicold’s Vector eCool system is the first fully autonomous, all-electric engineless refrigerated trailer system, and represents a giant step forward for transport refrigeration. The Vector eCool system converts kinetic energy generated by the trailer into electricity, which is then stored in a battery pack to power the refrigeration unit.
